OakTree Montessori, guided by the education philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori, works to create a prepared environment that inspires children to develop inner-discipline, self assurance and a love for learning. We respect the uniqueness of each student by helping each child to develop skills at periods of greatest readiness and sensitivity.

Daily Schedule

8:30–8:45	Arrival of school day students, warm greeting, prepare for Class time.
8:45–10:00	Morning work time
10:00–10:30	Outside recess and planned activities
10:30-11:15	Work time, (Individual selection of learning areas) snack is considered a practical life job and is available to students at any time. Work time also includes outdoor activities and the outdoor classroom.
11:15—11:30	Closing circle time. Half day students are dismissed.
11:35–12:30	Hand washing, lunch and recess
12:30–3:30	Afternoon class begins and follows similar schedule as the a.m. class
